John and Shelby Perry of Gainesville celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 18, 2013. A family dinner is planned in their honor. The couple have four children, Kyra Rothenberg, Branch Randy Perry, Robyn Allman and Shawn Perry; sons-in-law Larry Rothenberg and David Allman; and six grandchildren.
