Norman and Janice Davis of Gillsville celebrated their 50th anniversary on Dec. 20, 2010. A surprise dinner party held in their honor was given by their granddaughter Alex Cheney and daughter and son-in-law Carol and Don Cheney.

The couple have one child, and two grandchildren.
