Edgar and Virginia Benefield of Oakwood celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary July 20, 2014. The couple had dinner at Stoney River with family to celebrate the occasion. The couple have one son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Deneen Benefield of Flowery Branch, and one grandson.
