In the midst of an incoming storm, Kayla Street’s steady presence produced a performance she’ll remember for a lifetime. The Gainesville senior right-hander struck out seven batters and threw a no-hitter in the Lady Red Elephants’ lightning-shortened 3-0 non-region win against Monroe Area last Wednesday. It makes perfect sense to first-year Gainesville softball coach Roger Parham.
