High school basketball scoreboard: Flowery Branch girls stay perfect with win over Dawson County

The Flowery Branch girls basketball team took down Dawson County 55-40 Tuesday night to go to a perfect 3-0 on the season. 

Keidra Young and Ashlee Locke each contributed double-doubles against the Lady Tigers, with Young scoring 15 points and grabbing 11 rebounds while Locke put in 15 points to go with 12 boards. Shaine Kriews added 13 points on the night.

Up next, the Lady Falcons will participate in the Dacula Tipoff Classic this weekend at Dacula High School.

DAWSON COUNTY BOYS 55, FLOWERY BRANCH 33: Judson Burney scored 15 points for the Falcons on Tuesday. 

Flowery Branch will participate in Tabo’s Tipoff Classic this weekend at Jefferson High. 

NORTH HALL GIRLS 84, HABERSHAM CENTRAL 53: Lauren Swanson scored 25 points and added seven rebounds to pace the Lady Trojans. Grace Hollifield added 13 points, while Ansley Smallwood and Maci Gillespie each put in 11. 

North Hall will travel to take on Chestatee on Thursday at 6 p.m. 

LAKEVIEW ACADEMY GIRLS 92, JOHNSON 28: Jackie Allen scored 22 points to go along with eight assists and seven steals, while Eliza Snyder added 19 points, seven assists and seven rebounds. Joelle Snyder and Maddy Towles each contributed 15 points. 

The Lady Lions will travel to take on Chattanooga Christian on Friday at 6 p.m.

LAKEVIEW ACADEMY BOYS 67, JOHNSON 65 (OT): Declan Weidner had 17 points for the Lions, while Harrison Cooper added 14 points and five assists in the win. 

Lakeview Academy will go up against Chattanooga Christian on the road Friday at 7:30 p.m.

BUFORD GIRLS 78, EAGLE’S LANDING 64: Ashyia Willis had 24 points while Tate Walters added 19 for the Lady Wolves (3-0) on Tuesday. Blair Wallis scored 15 points for Buford. 

On Saturday, Buford faces Grayson at 6 p.m. 

ST. PIUS X BOYS 63, CHEROKEE BLUFF 59: Corey Thomas led the way with 20 points for the Bears, while Griffin Neville added 13 and Bosko Norman contributed 10. 

Cherokee Bluff will host Drew Charter on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
