High school basketball scoreboard: Griffin Neville scores 22 points to lead Cherokee Bluff to blowout win over Lumpkin County

Griffin Neville scored 22 points and Bosko Norman added 14 for the Cherokee Bluff boys in an 82-48 win against Lumpkin County on Tuesday in Flowery Branch. Up next, Cherokee Bluff hosts Winder-Barrow on Friday. 

FLOWERY BRANCH GIRLS 57, WEST HALL 43: Ashlee Locke scored 19 points for the Lady Falcons, while Shaina Kriews finished with 12 on Tuesday. Trailing 38-33 at the end of the third quarter, Flowery Branch outscored West Hall 14-5 in the final period. 

For the Lady Spartans, Kinsey Wilson and Riley Harkin each scored 15 points. 

CHESTATEE GIRLS 64, DENMARK 42: Maggie McNair had a team-high 24 points for the Lady War Eagles in the Region 7-4A opener on Tuesday. Logan Wiggins finished with 18 for Chestatee (3-2), while Emma Easterwood finished with 10.

On Friday, Chestatee hosts Flowery Branch. 

ST. FRANCIS GIRLS 81, LAKEVIEW ACADEMY 42: Joelle Snyder had 14 points for the Lady Lions, while Eliza Snyder added 11 points and 11 rebounds. 

Up next, Lakeview Academy hosts Athens Academy at 6 p.m. Monday.

LANIER CHRISTIAN BOYS 75, TRINITY CLASSICAL 50: Trevin Last had a game-high 31 points for the Lightning on Tuesday, while Thomas Avery finished with 13 points. 

On Friday, Lanier Christian faces Bethlehem Christian. 

LANIER CHRISTIAN ACADEMY GIRLS 39, TRINITY CLASSICAL 34: Faith Wasden had 20 points, seven boards, two steals and a block on Tuesday. Reece Montgomery had eight points and 14 points for Lanier Christian.
