Gainesville — The Gainesville High cross country teams celebrate after taking first in the boys and girls races in the Region 8-6A championships on Saturday in Winder. - photo by Al McLeod | For The Times

The Gainesville High girls earned the top two spots and Johnny Nunez was third on the boys’ side as it swept first place in the Region 8-6A championship on Saturday at Apalachee High in Winder.
