The Gwinnett Braves blanked the Toledo Mud Hens 2-0 on Thursday in Ohio.
Julio Teheran (6-1) was brilliant in matching his career high in innings pitched with eight. He struck out a season-high 11 and walked none while allowing just three hits.
With the win, Gwinnett (32-28) remains in second place and only a game behind the Durham Bulls for the International South division lead.
The G-Braves go for the sweep tonight at 7:05 p.m., sending Mike Minor (3-2, 2.23) to face Ramon Garcia (0-3, 5.03).
