Gwinnett Braves starting pitcher Todd Redmond threw six innings and allowed five hits and one run in a 2-1 loss against the Durham Bulls on Sunday at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville.
Triple-A Gwinnett scored its only run in the sixth inning when left fielder Jose Constanza drilled a double, followed by an RBI triple from center fielder Matt Young. Young and Constanza each finished with a pair of hits for the G-Braves.
Gwinnett plays host to the Syracuse Chiefs at 7 tonight at Coolray Field. For the G-Braves, Julio Teheran (6-1, 1.78 ERA) will get the start.
