Gwinnett fans were treated to a preview of the Triple-A All-Star Home Run Derby as G-Braves participants Stefan Gartrell and Mauro Gomez both went deep in a 6-4 win over Charlotte on Sunday in Lawrenceville.

Todd Redmond (6-8) earned the win, allowing three runs and seven hits on 5 1/3 innings, and Chris Carter added a home run for Gwinnett.

In what could be the final game in his rehab stint, Martin Prado went hitless, but played well in the field at third base.

The G-Braves remain in second place in the International League South, half a game behind Durham, heading into the All-Star break.
