Gwinnett falls to Buffalo

Gwinnett Braves starting pitcher Todd Redmond allowed eight hits over eight innings and three solo home runs in a 3-2 loss to the Buffalo Bisons on Friday at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville.

Michael Fisher, Valentino Pascucci and Lucas Duda all had early home runs for the Bisons to build a 3-0 lead.


Shawn Bowman had a two run home run for the Triple-A G-Braves (26-28) in the ninth inning to avoid being shut out three consecutive games for the first time in school history.

Gwinnett faces Buffalo at 7 tonight at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville.
