Tied 3-3 in the fifth inning, Gwinnett Braves’ first baseman Freddie Freeman hit a two-run home run en route to an 11-4 win against the Durham Bulls on Thursday at Coolray Field. Freeman finished the game 5-for-5 with a home and four RBIs.
Wilkin Ramirez and Brent Clevlen each drove in a pair of runs for Gwinnett, while Troy Glaus added a pair of hits.
Kenshin Kawakami takes the mound at 7 p.m. tonight for Gwinnett against Durham at Coolray Field.
