G-Braves game suspended due to rain

Monday night’s scheduled contest between the Norfolk Tides and Gwinnett Braves was suspended by rain during the 5th inning of play.

The G-Braves were batting with one out and Jeff Fiorentino standing on first base when rain struck Harbor Park in Norfolk. The score was tied 1-1 at the time of the suspension. 

The game will be resumed on Wednesday, August 31 and played to its scheduled nine-inning completion. The regularly scheduled game will follow and last seven innings.
