The Triple-A Gwinnett Braves saw their losing skid extend to 14 straight with an 11-4 loss to Scranton-Wilkes Barre on Friday in Rochester, N.Y. G-Braves starter Jose Lugo was rocked for nine runs in 3 Ã innings, allowing six hits and five walks in the losing effort. Nelson Figueroa allowed two runs through five innings to pick up the win on the mound for the Yankees, who swept the four-game series. Jose Constanza and Christian Marrerro tallied three hits apiece for Gwinnett, while Jack Cust and Russell Branyan both homered and drove in three runs for Scranton-Wilkes Barre.
