The Gwinnett Braves scored four runs in the second inning against the Columbus Clippers to take the lead and held on for the win, 5-1, Monday night in Columbus.
Braves catcher Wilkin Castillo’s homer in the second inning and single in the ninth were enough for four RBIs.
Starting pitcher Yohan Flande went 5 1/3 innings and gave up only one earned run.
