Gwinnett Braves starter Charlie Morton suffered a hard-luck loss in Sunday’s 1-0 defeat at the hands of the Pawtucket Red Sox, despite yielding just one run and striking out 10 in seven innings of work.
Pawtucket starter Clay Bucholz held Gwinnett to just two hits in 5 2/3 innings to earn the win.
The Braves return home today to play the Syracuse Chiefs in a four-game series. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
