Chris Stephens, a former North Hall baseball player and assistant coach, has been hired to the University of North Carolina-Wilmington baseball coaching staff as an assistant coach after serving on the staff at Presbyterian College for one season.

In 2011, Presbyterian posted wins over non-conference foes including Clemson and Tennessee as it posted a school record for wins at the Division-I level with 24.

"I am both grateful and excited for the opportunity to join the coaching staff at UNCW," Stephens said.
