Flowery Branch graduate Cross picked up by Buffalo Bills

Flowery Branch High graduate Izaan Cross signed a free agent deal with the Buffalo Bills on Monday. As a senior at Georgia Tech in 2012, the defensive end Cross had 26 tackles (15 solo) and 1 1/2 sacks for the Yellow Jackets.

His season high was six stops against Southern Cal in the Sun Bowl. In his college career, Cross played in 52 games and started 41 for the Yellow Jackets.

Cross started all 13 games he played as a senior in 2012 for Georgia Tech. He went undrafted in the recent NFL Draft.
