A Wednesday Dogfight was held this week at Chicopee Woods Golf Course.

First place finished in a tie between the team of Walter Hope, Wayne Strickland, Tommy Calhoun and Keith Fitzgerald and the team of Roger Stapp, Jerry Horton, Mike Tilson and Frank Bambarger.
Strickland won individually with Hope and Tilson tied for second and Stapp finishing fourth.

The Chattahoochee Men’s Golf Association played a two-man team match play event on Wednesday.

First place went to Don Wells, second place went to the team of A.J. Kiker and Eddie Johnson and third place finished in a tie between the team of Gene Weschler and John T. Smith and the team of Dick Bachman and Don Graff.

Closest to the pin winners were George Clegg (No. 3, No. 17), Jerry Ermlich (No. 5) and Ed Pledger (No. 12).

The Luna’s Tuesday golf group played this week at Chattahoochee Golf Course.

First place went to the team of Steve Hill, Larry Miller, Jerry Johns and Ken Chahoy.
Second place finished in a four way tie between the team of Gene Cobb, Tommy Lowery, Norm Nichols and Jim Cornett, the team of Bob Norton, Don Williams, Frank House and Gerald Gailey, the team of Randy Gordy, Anthony Barrett, Keith Fitzgerald and Jerry Ward and the team of Stan Davidson Jr., Cleve Brown, Grady Smith, and Don Rogers.

Closest to the pin winners were Johns (No. 3), Gailey (No. 5), Dale Gross (No. 12) and Nichols (No. 17).
