The Luna’s Tuesday Golf Group played at Chestatee this week. The team of Randy Gordy, Richard Strickland, Cleve Brown and Don Rogers placed first. Tony Turpin, Royce Deaton, Johnny Nix and Tommy Lowery placed second.

The team of Bub Black, Joe Campbell, Nelson Wright and Ken Chahoy finished tied with Stan Davidson Jr., Jimmy Harritos, Anthony Barrett and Doug McMahon.
Closest to the pin winners were Strickland (No. 3), Gordy (No. 7), Emerson (No. 11), Lowery (No. 15) and Tom Sexton (No. 17).

The Chattahoochee Men’s Golf Association played a two-best ball net strokes game Wednesday.

Ken Bailey, Denny Momper, Don Sorrell and Johnny Little finished first.

Paul Payne, Jerry Ermlich, Milton Martin and Don Graff placed second.

Dick Bachman, Bob Henderson, Jim Carroll and Bob Watson finished tied with Sean Hanson, Ed Pledger, Lua Blankenship and Dave Long for third place.

The Chattahoochee Ladies Golf Association played a low gross, low net event Tuesday.

Mona White won the low gross in the first flight and Violet Reynolds placed first in the low net.
Nancy Norris won the low net in the second flight, and Paula Pilgrim and Nancy Norris tied for low gross in the second flight.

Closest to the pin winners were White and Betty Norton (No. 3) and Carolyn Palmer (No. 17).

Chicopee Woods held a Wednesday dogfight this week.

Dave Sellers, Terry Clegg, Wayne Groebli and Keith Fitzgerald finished first. Sonny Sykes, Pete Smith, Bob Arendt and Tim Miller placed second.

Wayne Groebli finished first individually, Arendt placed second and Tim Miller finished third.
