The Luna’s Tuesday Golf Group played at Apple Mountain this week.

Gary Fredenburg, Joe Campbell, Anthony Barrett and Ronnie Ledford finished first. Bud Black, Jerry Johns, Richard Strickland and Stan Davidson Sr. placed second. Gene Weschler, Royce Deaton, Tom Sexton and Johnny Crumley finished third. Closest to the pin winners were Strickland (No. 4), Sexton (No. 7), Deaton (No. 11), and Fredenburg (No. 15).

Chicopee Woods held a Wednesday dogfight this week.

Dave Sellers, Bob Arendt, Don Gardner and Slatz Gaines placed first. Roger Stapp, Terry Clegg, Bill Jorgenson and Mike Zeigler finished second. Stapp and Gaines tied for first individually. Gardner and Zeigler finished tied for third.

The Chattahoochee Men’s Golf Association played a three best ball aggregated net points game on Wednesday at Chattahoochee Golf Course.

The team of A.J. Kiker, Warren Jahn, Eddie Johnson and John T. Smith won the game. Second place went to Ed Pledger, Don Graff and Jim Hesser. There was a tie for third place between the team of Doug Van, John Williams, Don Pirkle and Tony Denote, the team of Bob Henderson, J. B. Johnston, Jere Cochran and John Beem, and the team of Stu Virgin, Bill Kinser, Jimmy Johnson and Glynn Rogers.

Closest to the pin winners were. Johnny Little (No. 3), Jahn (No. 5), Larry Cohan (No. 12) and Bob Layne (No. 17).
