The Luna’s Tuesday golf group played at Chestatee Golf Course this week.

First place went to the team of Richard Strickland, Tom Sexton, Cleve Brown and Jerry Johns.

The team of Gene Weschler, Al Raynes, Doug Van and Don Rogers took second place.

Third place went to the team of Randy Gordy, Tommy Lowery, Gene Cobb and Jerry Ward.

Closest to the pin winners were Weschler (No.3), Johnny Nix (No.7), Johns (No.11), Strickland (No.15), and Raynes (No.17).

CMGA: The Chattahooche Men’s Golf Association played a two best-ball, net-point game Wednesday at Chattahoochee Golf Course.

First place went to the team of Bill Kopecky, Bob Watson, Don Gage and Ron Bachman. The team of Paul Payne, Bill Ingram, Jim Carroll and John Smith finished second. The team of Don Sorrell, Bud Clegg, Guy Long and Buzz Hansen finished in a tie for third with the team of Dick Bachman, Bob Pyne and Tony Denote. Fifth went to the team of John Williams, Leroy Harper, Wayne Nelson and Don Wells.

Closest to the pin winners were Kopecky (No.3), Clegg (No.5), Gary Myers (No.12) and Hansen (No.17).

DPG: The DPG played matches on Wednesday and Friday of this week at Chicopee Woods Golf Course.

Terrence Dale won first place with a score of +4 Wednesday. Denis Jordan and Doug Padgett tied for second with a score of +2. Charley Kilby and Norm Phillips tied for third with a score of -1.

On Friday Jerry Shell took first place with a score of +4. Dwight Miller was second with a score of +3. Steve Knowles and Terrence Dale tied for third with a score of -2.
