Local golf: Cochran's team takes first place

The Chattahoochee Men’s Golf Association played a three best ball, net strokes game on Wednesday at Chattahoochee Golf Course.

First place went to the team of Jere Cochran, Denny Momper and Roy Lyle. Second place went to the team of Bill Ingram, Larry Cohan, Carlyle Cox and Tom Reiter.

Closest to the pin winners were Dick Freeman (No. 3), Reiter (No. 5, No. 17) and Dick Bachman (No. 12).
