A pair of local Class AAA baseball teams switched spots in this week's Prepcountry.com Baseball Coaches Poll, released Tuesday.

White County (17-3, 16-3 Region 8-AAA) moved up to seventh, while Gainesville (17-4, 15-4) fell one spot to eighth. White County holds a half-game lead over North Hall, and a one-game lead over Gainesville, for first place in the region.

In Class A, Commerce makes its first appearance of the season at No. 10. The Tigers (15-4, 12-4 Region 8-A) are in third place in the region. Buford (16-3, 10-1 Region 6-AA) fell from first to third this week in Class AA. The Wolves are tied with Blessed Trinity atop the region standings.
