The Lakeview Academy volleyball team dropped a match to North Forsyth (25-15, 25-13) on Wednesday in Cumming.

Liz Clark led the Lady Lions (3-4, 2-2 Region 8-A) with seven digs. Louisa Jacobs had three digs and Megan Rochester had two blocks for the Lady Lions.

Lakeview plays host to Jefferson and Gainesville at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Habersham Central stays perfect with Tuesday’s win

The Habersham Central volleyball team remained undefeated with a best-of-five win against Duluth (25-21, 22-25, 25-13, 25-12) on Tuesday in Mt. Airy.

Jaclyn Campbell and Megan Rowland led the Lady Raiders (10-0) with 11 kills each. Campbell also had five aces and five digs.

Habersham Central visits Heritage at 6 tonight for matches against Heritage and Eagles Landing.

Megan Rogers threw a one hitter while striking out 12 in the Lady Trojans win Wednesday night.

Brittany Smith went 3-for-3 with a double to lead North Hall (5-1, 3-0 Region 7-AAA) at the plate.

North Hall returns to action at 5 tonight when it plays host to Flowery Branch.
