West Hall built a 13-7 lead in the first quarter they never relinquished on their way to a 49-41 win over Flowery Branch on Friday night in the boys' consolation game of Lanierland at Flowery Branch High.
Jarquise Young led West Hall (6-2) with 23 points, including 17 in the second and third quarters combined.
Ishmael Hollis led Flowery Branch with 16 points.
EAST HALL GIRLS 61, LAKEVIEW 27
East Hall held Lakeview scoreless in the first quarter en route to an 18-0 lead to start the game and a 61-27 win Friday in the girls consolation game of Lanierland at Flowery Branch High.
East Hall's Haley Chapman led all scorers with 14 points including four 3-pointers. Morgan Jackson and Shauna Butler each added nine for the Lady Vikings (3-2).
Lakeview (2-3) was led by Louisa Jacobs and Maddie Haymore, who each scored seven points.
