Lakeview Academy senior Maddie Haymore scored 16 points to lead the Lady Lions (1-0) to a 40-34 win against Banks County on Thursday night in Gainesville.

Deasha Beasley scored 14 points to lead the Lady Leopards (0-1).

Lakeview plays host to St. Aquinas at 4 p.m. Saturday. Banks County visits Lakeview Academy at 6 p.m. Nov. 30.

RIVERSIDE MILITARY 80, LAKEVIEW ACADEMY 74: Junior Tarvin Dukes poured in 25 points to lead the Eagles to an 80-74 win against Lakeview Academy on Thursday night in Gainesville.

Dylen Setzekorn and fellow senior Richard Tribble both scored 22 points for Riverside (1-1).

Austin Pearson scored 25 points to lead the Lions (0-1). Lakeview’s Jordan Chastain scored 14 points, and Jordan Chastain scored 11 points.

Lakeview plays host to St. Aquinas at 5:30 p.m. Saturday. Riverside plays host to to Athens Academy at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 1.
