The Jefferson softball team finished 1-2 on Saturday at the Hawk/Bulldog tournament at Mill Creek High in Hoschton. The Lady Dragons (4-9) defeated Providence Academy 5-1, fell to South Effingham 10-0 and lost to the hosts Mill Creek 9-1. Starting pitcher Morgan McKinney picked up the win in the circle against Providence Academy, throwing five innings and allowing three hits and one earned run while striking out four.
