HS Scoreboard: Flowery Branch girls basketball remains undefeated with region win over Heritage
Lady Falcons' Maddie Hetzel scores 16 points as five Flowery Branch players finish in double figures

Flowery Branch’s Maddie Hetzel scored 16 points for the undefeated Lady Falcons (5-0, 2-0 Region 8-AAAAA) in a 76-33 win against Heritage on Friday.

Flowery Branch’s Lexie Sengkhammee, Taniah Worth, Breanna Locke and Julianna Sutton all finished with 10 points.

Flowery Branch visits Salem on Tuesday night.

HERITAGE BOYS 60, FLOWERY BRANCH 55: Brannon Clark’s 15 points led three Falcons in double-digit points on Friday. John Mills and Trey Bailey each had 10 for Flowery Branch.

Heritage was led by Charles Moore’s 24 points.

Flowery Branch (2-3, 0-2) visits Salem Tuesday night.

BANKS COUNTY BOYS 69, HART COUNTY 41: The Banks County boys were led by Zez Steeple’s 23 points on Friday.

The Leopards’ Kahmal Wiley scored 14 points, Trevae Cain had 10 and Kendrick Simmons netted nine.

Banks County (4-0) hosts Chestatee at 5:30 p.m. today.

WEST HALL GIRLS 61, JACKSON COUNTY 45: Lady Spartans sophomore Anna Mckendree scored 21 points in their win Friday night.

West Hall’s Izzy Salgado and Macy Passmore each had 11, while Avery Prather added 10 points.

West Hall (4-1) visits Banks County 6 p.m. Tuesday.

DAWSON COUNTY GIRLS 52, CHESTATEE 34: Lady Tigers senior Karlie Bearden finished with a double-double, scoring 26 points and grabbing 10 rebounds on Friday.

The Lady Eagles were led by Dawndria Bell and Morgan Bryant who each scored nine points in a losing effort.

Dawson County (5-0) visits East Hall Tuesday night. Chestatee (3-2) visits Banks County 4 p.m. today.

NORTH GEORGIA CHRISTIAN BOYS 75, PRAISE CHRISTIAN 50: The Chargers’ Will Owens netted 21 points and Justin Law added 17 on Friday.

NORTH GEORGIA CHRISTIAN GIRLS 52, PRAISE CHRISTIAN 39: The Lady Chargers were carried by Maddie Basille and her 27 points in the win Friday night. Teammate Molly Martin added 13 points.
