The Flowery Branch High boys defeated Discovery High 62-59 on the strength of Brannon Clarke’s 22 points on Tuesday.

Gabe Holston chipped in 10 points and John Mills added nine.

Flowery Branch (14-9, 5-8 8-AAAAA) hosts Lanier 8:30 p.m. on Friday.

FLOWERY BRANCH GIRLS 89, DISCOVERY 8: The third-ranked Lady Falcons were led by Kierra Knight’s 18 points on Tuesday.

Taniyah Worth scored 15 points, Caroline Wysocki had 14 and Ashley Woodroffe added 10 points.

Flowery Branch (22-1, 12-1 8-AAAAA) hosts Lanier 7 p.m. on Friday.

CHESTATEE GIRLS 61, NORTH HALL 50: The Lady War Eagles’ Lindsey Caudell tallied 23 points Tuesday night.

Kayla Watson chipped in 12, and Peri Satterfield finished with nine.

Chestatee (12-13, 5-3 8-AAAA) next plays in the Region 8-AAAA tournament next week, while North Hall (14-10, 5-3) visits Stephens County 7 p.m. Friday.

RIVERSIDE MILITARY ACADEMY 58, SOCIAL CIRCLE 26: Javon Thompson scored a team-high 18 points while going 9 for 10 from the field on Tuesday.

Juwan Thompson finished with 16 points, while Davis Short hit two 3-pointers and finished with eight points.

Riverside Military (11-8, 6-3 8-AA) visits Washington-Wilkes 6 p.m. on Friday.

DAWSON COUNTY GIRLS 65, FANNIN COUNTY 28: Karlie Bearden led the way with 19 points as 12 players scored for the Lady Tigers on Tuesday.

Katelynn Simpson had 13 points and Haley Burgess added seven.

Dawson County (22-2, 10-1 7-AAA) visits West Hall 7 p.m. Friday.

DAWSON COUNTY BOYS 40, FANNIN COUNTY 36: Gabe Bryant scored a game-high 14 points for the Tigers on Tuesday in Dawsonville.

BANKS COUNTY GIRLS 64, LUMPKIN COUNTY 39: Jaycie Brown led the Lady Leopards with 13 points Tuesday night.

Mallory Parson scored 12 points, Kailynn Gilstrap had 10 and Maddie Thomas added eight.

Banks County (12-12, 5-6 7-AAA) visits Fannin County at 7 p.m. Friday.
