Kara Hix led East Hall with 27 digs, nine service points, five aces and four kills in a win against East Jackson (25-14, 25-13) and a loss to North Oconee (25-14, 25-17) on Thursday. Jessica Chmiel added 15 assists, nine digs and six service points for the Lady Vikings (17-8, 1-1 Region 5-AAA), and Tarryn Long tallied 16 kills, nine digs, an assist and a block. East Hall plays host to St. Pius X and Buford on Tuesday in Gainesville.
