Buford’s Samantha Thomas went yard twice for the Lady Wolves softball team as they beat Lambert 8-0 on the road Wednesday night.Both of Thomas’ home runs were two-run shots. She went 3-for-4 with five RBIs and three runs scored.Buford’s Baylee Sexton went 2-for-3 with two runs and two stolen bases. Gabby Benson went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored, and Biz Walters went 2-for-3 with a run scored.Winning pitcher Peyton Wolfe (3-0) went five innings, gave up three hits and one walk and had two strikeouts.Buford (7-1) visits North Oconee at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
