Megan Rogers pitched a no-hitter with six strikeouts to lead North Hall’s softball team to an 8-0 win over Lambert on Wednesday in Gainesville.

Danielle Newburn led the way at the plate for North Hall (10-12-1, 5-6 Region 7-AAA) with two hits on the night, one a home run..

Kelsey Gibbs had a pair of RBIs for the Trojans and Rogers had two hits and an RBI.  Junior Amber Youngblood had two hits and a pair of RBIs and sophomore Whitney Swing had two hits and an RBI.

North Hall visits Pickens 5:55 tonight in Jasper.

WEST HALL 7, GILMER 1: Emily Hammond struck out 12 batters to lead the Lady Spartans to a win Wednesday in Ellijay.

Madison Strickland had a double, triple and two RBIs and her sister, Morgan had two hits for West Hall (18-10, 10-2 Region 7-AAA).

NORTH OCONEE 7, JEFFERSON 0: The Lady Dragons ended the regular season Wednesday with a loss to North Oconee.

Morgan McKinney picked up the lone hit for Jefferson (7-10, 2-6, Region 8-AA).
