Lakeview Academy’s Lewis Brooks finished fourth overall in the Region 8-A cross country meet and will run in the state meet in Carrollton. He finished in 16 minutes, 58 seconds, just nine seconds behind first place. The Lady Lions finished eighth overall, led by Jackie Allen with a time of 23 minutes, nine seconds.
