East Hall junior Triston Cooper shot a 77 during the Class AAA state golf championship on Monday at the Brookfield Country Club in Roswell. He qualified for state automatically as the low medalist from Region 7-AAA, shooting a 75 during its tournament. Cooper finished eight shots back of individual state champion Dustin Demerrsman (69) of Oconee County.
