The Gainesville boys golf team set a school record by carding a team score of 270 (18-under par) at the Apple Mountain Invitational tournament on Saturday in Clarkesville. The score shatters the previous team record of 289 (1-over par), which was first set in 1979 and tied multiple times during the 2012 and 2013 seasons. The mark is also an Apple Mountain Invitational record.
