Gainesville 8-AAAAAA All-Area libero Sydney King posted 14 digs and an ace in Thursday’s Area tournament win (25-23, 25-18) against Lanier. Savannah Roys who also earned a spot on the All-Area team finished the night with 12 assists, two aces and seven digs, while fellow All-Area pick Abby Alexander totaled three kills and three blocks for Gainesville. Cori Griffith finished the night with four kills for the Lady Red Elephants.
