Shunquez Stephens scored a game-high 22 points and led the West Hall boys to a 60-39 win against West Forsyth on Saturday in Oakwood.
William Stroup finished with 10 points for the Spartans (11-8, 3-5 Region 7B-AAA).
Leading 27-26 at halftime, West Hall exploded in the third quarter with a 19-2 scoring advantage for the quarter.
Fineto Lunguana led West Forsyth with 10 points.
West Hall visits West Forsyth at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday in Cumming. The Spartans play host to Flowery Branch on Wednesday in a game rescheduled from last Friday’s weather cancellation.
WEST FORSYTH GIRLS 43, WEST HALL 40: Amber Johnson scored a team high 14 points and Bailey Soucie added 12 for the Lady Spartans (3-15, 1-7 Region 7B-AAA) on Saturday in Oakwood.
Kelsey Turchi led West Forsyth with 20 points.
West Hall led 19-10 at halftime, but was outscored 18-7 in the third quarter.
West Hall visits West Forsyth at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
BUFORD GIRLS 51, WESLEYAN 49 OT: Andraya Carter scored 19 points and led Class AA's top ranked Lady Wolves (18-1) to a win against Class A's top-ranked Wesleyan on Saturday in Norcross.
Holly Wilkins led Wesleyan with 10 points.
Buford plays host to Cross Keys at 6 p.m. Tuesday night.
JEFFERSON BOYS 87, COMMERCE 55: Jessie Damons scored a game-high 29 for the Dragons (13-6) and Darius Minor added 23 on Friday in Jefferson.
Jefferson led 22-14 after the first quarter and extended its lead to 39-26 by halftime.
Anthony Norris led Commerce with 20.
Jefferson visits Walnut Grove at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Commerce plays host to Lakeview Academy at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
