Keelan Passmore scored 24 points for the Chestatee High boys and Cole Morgan added 22 points in a 65-64 win against Stephens County on Saturday in Gainesville. Lucas Bennett added 12 points for the War Eagles (2-12, 1-1 Region 8A-AAA).
Trailing by 1, the Indians missed a pair of free throws with 17 seconds left in the game. With the ball on the final possession, Stephens County missed a potential game-winning shot.
Tomas Colbert (16), Kamichi Fleming (15), Antonio Jackson (12) and Drique Holden (10) were all in double-digits scoring for Stephens County.
Chestatee visits Union County at 7:30 on Monday in Blairsville.
CHESTATEE GIRLS 47, STEPHENS COUNTY 23: Lady War Eagles senior Peyton Robertson finished with 25 points and seven rebounds on Saturday in Gainesville. Rachel Kelley added nine points and four rebounds for Chestatee.
EAST HALL BOYS 71, BANKS COUNTY 37: Daniel McCravy led the Vikings (9-4, 1-0 Region 8A-AA) with 12 points and J.C. Hampton added 11 on Saturday in Gainesville. Sterling Bailey had 10 points and 12 rebounds for East Hall, while Kymon Woods had nine assists.
Adam Hiten led Banks County with 12 points.

GEORGE WALTON BOYS 59, LAKEVIEW ACADEMY 48: Derek Fadool led the Lions (6-9) with 15 points and Austin Pearson added 10 on Saturday in Monroe. Trailing 26-25 at halftime, George Walton outscored the Lions 16-9 in the third quarter.

PRINCE AVENUE BOYS 44, RIVERSIDE 38: No other information was provided. On Friday, Amari Archibald led the Eagles with 12 points in a 47-44 win against Hebron Christian in Gainesville.
DAWSON COUNTY BOYS 34, FANNIN COUNTY 28: Tyler Dominy scored a game-high 19 points for the Tigers on Saturday in Blue Ridge. Jacob Evans scored nine points for Dawson County.
Dawson County plays host to East Hall at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers’ previously scheduled game for Tuesday against Jackson County has been canceled.
FANNIN COUNTY GIRLS 51, DAWSON COUNTY 29: Kaileigh Satterfield scored a game-high 16 points and Brooke Thomas added 12 for Fannin County on Saturday in Blue Ridge. Natalie Parker, Carly Gilreath and Hannah Porter each scored six points for Dawson County (8-6), which plays host to East Hall at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
BUFORD GIRLS 49, OAK HILL ACADEMY 45: Kaela Davis scored a team-high 18 points and Andraya Carter added 13 for the Lady Wolves (11-1) on Saturday at Wesleyan Academy in Norcross. Buford plays host to Avondale at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
GAINESVILLE BOYS 62, LANIER 34: Quon Holcomb’s 22 points led the Red Elephants in a subregion contest. The Red Elephants (10-5, 3-2 8B-AAA) host Carrollton on Monday, with the girls starting at 4 p.m.
