The Flowery Branch girls opened the season with a 2-0 win against Johnson on Tuesday in Oakwood. Julia Sienkiewicz and Kimberly McNeil each scored one goal in the second half to lead Flowery Branch to the win. Corrie Thomas recorded one assist.
