Kayla Watson’s 18 points powered the Chestatee girls to a 65-31 win over Lanier on Tuesday in Gainesville.

Bridgette Kelly contributed with 15 points for the Lady War Eagles (20-4, 7-0 Region 8-AAAA), and Savanna Long added eight points. Deanna Bradberry finished with seven.

Chestatee visits Stephens County at 6 p.m. Thursday in Toccoa.

JOHNSON BOYS 77, WALNUT GROVE 49: Justin Jones recorded a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds for the Knights on Tuesday in Oakwood.

Ty Cockfield contributed with 19 points, five rebounds and five assists for Johnson (19-5, 6-1 Region 8-AAAA), and Drew Dunham added 11 points and six assists. Roderick English tallied nine points, six rebounds and five steals.

The Knights play host to Monroe Area at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Oakwood.

FLOWERY BRANCH GIRLS 56, HERITAGE 33: Julianne Sutton put up 18 points to lead the Lady Falcons on Tuesday in Conyers.

Kylah Mize added 12 points for Flowery Branch (13-10, 10-5 Region 8-AAAAA), and Heather Moore scored 11.

LAKEVIEW ACADEMY GIRLS 51, COMMERCE 34: Marlee Rochester notched 14 points for the Lady Lions on Tuesday in Commerce.

Hanna Grogan finished with 13 points for Lakeview Academy (16-7, 10-2 Region 8-A), and Schyler Miller tallied 11.

For Commerce, Hannah Davis led with 10 points.

The Lady Lions play host to Tallulah Falls on Friday in Gainesville.

LAKEVIEW ACADEMY BOYS 50, COMMERCE 47: Tre Gober scored 11 points for the Lions on Tuesday in Commerce.

Josh Randolph added 10 points and eight rebounds for Lakeview Academy (12-11, 7-5 Region 8-A), which plays host to Tallulah Falls on Friday in Gainesville.

DAWSON COUNTY BOYS 51, NORTH HALL 44: Cameron Millholland and Sam Muenchen each tallied 13 points for Dawson County on Tuesday in Gainesville.

Levi Whitmire added 10 for the Tigers (17-6, 8-4 Region 7-AAA), who play host to West Hall on Friday in Dawsonville.

For North Hall, Brock Wingo led with 10 points.

NORTH HALL GIRLS 66, DAWSON COUNTY 49: Sydney Cleveland’s double-double with 18 points and 15 rebounds led the Lady Trojans on Tuesday in Gainesville.

Kensi Gillespie scored 16 points for North Hall (16-7, 8-4 Region 7-AAA), and Sadie Cleveland added nine points and eight rebounds.

For Dawson County, Ashley Parker scored a game-high 24 points and Sheyenne Seabolt tallied 19.

The Lady Trojans play host to Buford on Friday in Gainesville.

BUFORD GIRLS 58, WEST HALL 23: Bree Horrocks was the lone player in double-digits with 15 points for the Lady Wolves on Tuesday in Buford.

Buford plays host to White County for a weather make-up game on Thursday.

BANKS COUNTY BOYS 70, FANNIN COUNTY 54: Zez Steeple recorded 18 points to pace the Leopards on Tuesday in Homer.

Austin Venable added 14 points, 10 rebounds and six blocks for Banks County (13-10, 6-6 Region 7-AAA), and Zac Orr notched a double-double with 11 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks.

The Leopards visit East Hall on Friday in Gainesville.
