The East Hall boys survived its first-round matchup in the Class AAA state playoffs with a 60-58 win against Ringgold on Saturday. With the win, the Vikings move on to face Morgan County in the second round on Tuesday in Madison. On Friday, Morgan County won its playoff opener against Woodward Academy 58-43.
