The North Hall girls basketball team rallied in the second half to win at Flowery Branch 47-41.
Mary Kate Rushton tallied 14 points and McKenna Rushton added 12 to lead the Lady Trojans (3-0), who also got nine points and eight rebounds from Sarah Paschall.
The Lady Falcons were led by Tavia Sykes with 14 points, the only Flowery Branch player to score in double digits.
The Lady Falcons will host Loganville at 7 p.m. on Friday, while the Lady Trojans look to stay undefeated at 6 p.m. Tuesday at home against Wesleyen.
WOLVES HOLD OFF BULLDOGS: The Buford boys held off North Gwinnett 68-63 at Kennesaw University on Saturday.
The Wolves (3-2) were led by Isaiah Williams with 21 points. Brad Mapes chipped in 11 as Buford ran to a 20-point lead at the half and then held off a late Bulldogs rally in the final quarter.
Buford will host South Atlanta at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
CHESTATEE GIRLS IMPROVE TO 4-1: The Lady War Eagles continued their strong start with a 58-41 win at Lakeview Academy on Saturday.
Chestatee's Megan Kenimer scored a team-high 18 points, and Bridgette Kelly added nine.
Chestatee returns to the court at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Forsyth Central.
LAKEVIEW BOYS BLAST CHESTATEE: The Lions shot their way to a 84-57 win over the War Eagles on Saturday.
Lakeview's (2-2) Austin Montgomery scored 16 points, and Rick Valentine, Joel Larsen and Derek Fadool had 10 each.
Keelan Passmore and Cole Morgan scored 15 in the losing effort.
Lakeview will travel to George Walton Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Chestatee will play on Tuesday at Forsyth Central.
TOWNS COUNTY GIRLS WIN: Gabby Arencibia led the Lady Indians (4-2) to a 52-44 win over Union County in Hiawassee on Saturday.
Stephanie Patton chipped in 13 points as the hosts gave the Lady Panthers (4-1) their first loss of the season.
Union County was led by Rebecka Merritt with 20 points. The Lady Panthers will host Murphy, N.C., on Thursday. The Lady Indians will travel to Tallulah Falls on Tuesday.
UNION COUNTY BOYS VICTORIOUS: The Panthers rode Zach Odom (22 points) and Rhett McCombs (21) to a 63-59 win at Towns County on Saturday.
Dylan Coyne manned the boards for Union County (3-2), grabbing 17 rebounds.
Union County will return to the court Thursday in Blairsville against Murphy, N.C., and Towns County will play at Tallulah Falls.
WRESTLING
WAR EAGLES SWEEP QUAD MATCH: Chestatee won all three of its matches at Duluth on Saturday, 54-25 against the hosts, 51-24 over Stephenson and 58-21 over Lanier.
The War Eagles (9-2) were led by Taylor Alvarado and Dylan Brock with three wins each.
Chestatee will return to the mats on Tuesday at home against Lanier.
