Lance White scored a game-high 17 points to lead the North Hall boys basketball team to an 84-68 win over Loganville on Tuesday in the Chattahoochee Holiday Classic in Alpharetta.
Imani Cross and Kanler Coker each scored 15 and Ethan Smith added 11 for the Trojans (7-3), who led 26-12 after the first quarter and outscored Loganville 39-31 in the second half.
North Hall faces Chattahoochee at 7:30 tonight in Alpaharetta.
CHAPEL HILL BOYS 51, FLOWERY BRANCH 31: Despite 12 points from Jemon Randolph, the Falcons lost Tuesday in the Jared Cook Christmas Tournament at North Gwinnett High.
Flowery Branch (3-6) plays North Cobb at 1:45 p.m. today in the consolation bracket.
CHESTATEE GIRLS 45, ALEXANDER 13: Led by 15 points and four rebounds from Peyton Robertson, the Lady War Eagles won Tuesday.
Emily Crain added nine points for Chestatee (9-1), which plays today in the Lake Allatoona Classic.
BUFORD GIRLS 54, OAK RIDGE (N.C.) 41: Kaela Davis scored 25 points and Andraya Carter added 16 for the Buford High girls in the semifinals of the Jumpoffplus.com Holiday Invitational on Tuesday at Duluth High.
With the win, the Lady Wolves (8-0) will face Riverdale (Tenn.) in the championship game at 4:30 today in Duluth.
DAWSON COUNTY GIRLS 58, LUMPKIN COUNTY 42: Despite leading 30-25 at the half, the Lady Indians couldn’t manage to score against a strong Dawson County defense and lost on Tuesday.
Allie Costley scored 14 points and Carly Gilreath added 11 for Dawson County, which limited Lumpkin County to 12 points in the second half. The Lady Tigers play at noon today against Gordon Central in the second game of the Pickens County Classic.
DORMAN BOYS (S.C.) 80, EAST HALL 61: J.C. Hampton hit seven 3-pointers and finished with a team-high 21 points for the Vikings (6-3) on Tuesday in the Upward Classic in Spartanburg, S.C. Kymon Woods added 14 points for East Hall.
Sterling Bailey had nine points and seven rebounds for the Vikings, which face Logan (W.V.) at 2 p.m. today in Spartanburg, S.C.
