Bridgette Kelly put up 24 points for Chestatee in a 53-40 win against Lumpkin County on Tuesday in Gainesville.

Kayla Watson tallied 11 points for the Lady War Eagles (9-1), which faces Gainesville in the Lanierland Tournament at 8:30 p.m. Friday at Lakeview Academy in Gainesville.

LUMPKIN COUNTY BOYS 54, CHESTATEE 42: Evan Bafile notched 16 points for the Indians on Tuesday in Gainesville.

Austin Holman recorded a double-double for Lumpkin County with 14 points and 13 rebounds, and Malik Anderson added 13 points.

DAWSON COUNTY GIRLS 69, WHITE COUNTY 37: Ashley Parker led all scorers with 27 points for Dawson County on Tuesday in Cleveland.

Karlie Bearden added 15 for the Lady Tigers (8-1, 2-1 Region 7-AAA).

For White County, Abby Craven had eight points, and Kaitlin Wilson added seven.

The Lady Warriors (5-1) play host to Jackson County on Friday in Cleveland, while Dawson County visits Lumpkin County on Friday in Dahlonega.

WHITE COUNTY BOYS 59, DAWSON COUNTY 50: Spencer Adams paced the Warriors with 26 points on Tuesday in Cleveland.

Whit Mauney added 12 for White County (6-1, 2-0 Region 7-AAA), which plays host to Jackson County on Friday in Cleveland.

BANKS COUNTY GIRLS 55, COMMERCE 19: Kaitlyn Duncan led the Lady Leopards with 12 points on Tuesday in Commerce.

Taylor Kennedy and Lauren Carter each added 11 for Banks County (6-2) which visits Buford at 7 p.m. Friday.


CHESTATEE 39, WEST HALL 28: Austin Donaldson, Christian Zapatera, Trevor Comeaux, Sebastian Godinez and Joey Merulo earned wins by fall for Chestatee on Tuesday.

Marvin Cunningham, Austin Hollman and Zac Cheshire also earned wins for the War Eagles.

For West Hall, Robbie Campbell, Elliott Raiford and Israel Salas won by pin. Eugenio Manilla, Julio Gallegos, and Eric Camacho also won for the Spartans.
