Kyvon Davenport erupted for 32 points, 15 rebounds and six blocked shots for the East Hall boys in a 60-47 win against North Hall on Saturday in Gainesville. Tyler Brown finished with eight points for the Vikings (6-1).
For North Hall, Carson Heinen scored 14 points.
On Friday, East Hall hosts Lumpkin County.
FLOWERY BRANCH GIRLS 65, OCONEE COUNTY 24: Julianne Sutton continues to have the hot hand for Flowery Branch, scoring 14 points in a win against Oconee County on Saturday in South Hall.
Maddie Hetzel chipped in 12 points for the Lady Falcons (8-1). Flowery Branch took firm control of the game early, leading 22-4 after one period.
FLOWERY BRANCH BOYS 59, OCONEE COUNTY 39: Taylor Bourdage scored 18 points, and two other Falcons added 10 points apiece in Saturday’s win.
Tyler Kriews and Chris Garcia combined for 20 to push Flowery Branch (4-4, 1-3 Region 8-AAAAA) to its fourth win of the season.
On Friday, Flowery Branch lost 48-34 to Cedar Shoals. Bourdage had 19 points in the loss.
The Falcons play Loganville next Friday at home.
RIVERSIDE MILITARY 56, GEORGE WALTON 54 OT: Avery Cagle led the Eagles with a game-high 23 points, including nine in overtime on Saturday in Loganville.
Chris Howard scored 12 points for the Eagles (3-3), and Griffin Sewell finished with 11. On Tuesday, Riverside plays host to Rabun County in Gainesville.
LAKEVIEW ACADEMY GIRLS 64, PRINCE AVENUE CHRISTIAN 41: The Lady Lions used a 16-point second quarter to pull away from and defeat Prince Avenue Christian on Saturday night in Athens.
Senior Schyler Miller led Lakeview Academy with 19 points while Hanna Grogan added 18 in the win. Marlee Rochester chipped in seven points for the Lady Lions.
Lakeview plays North Hall on Dec. 19 at the White County Christmas Tournament.
LAKEVIEW ACADEMY BOYS 50, PRINCE AVENUE 46: Tre Gober scored 18 and Josh Randolph chipped in 14 for the Lions (6-1, 3-0 Region 8-A) on Saturday in Athens. On Friday, Lakeview faces North Hall in the White County Christmas Tournament.
CHESTATEE BOYS 70, WEST HALL 45: Hunter Creamer shot a game-high 26 points to help the War Eagles defeat West Hall on Saturday night at home. Jordan Pulliam added 14 and Mikey Petraroi scored 10 for Chestatee.
Chestatee (4-4) hosts Gilmer County on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
CHESTATEE GIRLS 58, WEST HALL 24: Tyler Bennett scored 18 for the Lady War Eagles on Saturday. Tied 9-9 after the first quarter, Chestatee broke it wide open with a 20-2 scoring edge in the second period. Kayla Watson finished with eight points for the Lady War Eagles, who face Gilmer at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
EAST HALL GIRLS 50, NORTH HALL 42: Kylah Mize scored 20 for East Hall in a win over North Hall on Saturday night. Jatasia Bailey scored 11 points for the Lady Vikings, while Jenny Edwards had nine points and 18 rebounds.
Sadie Cleveland chipped in 14 for North Hall in a losing effort.
DAWSON COUNTY GIRLS 71, PICKENS 40: Ashley Parker scored 30 points with 15 rebounds for the Lady Tigers on Saturday. Karlie Bearden finished with 17 points for Dawson County (7-0).
Dawson County hosts Banks County at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Dawsonville.
EAST HALL 80, BANKS COUNTY 74, OT (Friday): Jacquen Hopkins led the Vikings (5-1, 2-0 Region 7-AAA) with 19 points, while Davenport pumped in 18 on Friday. Tristin Cooper (11) and Devin Watson (10) were also in double-digits scoring for East Hall. Zez Venable scored 20 for the Leopards.
