The Buford tennis team swept Johnson on Wednesday with both the boys winning 5-0.
For the boys, Dalton Counts (6-1, 6-1), Cameron DeLoach (6-2, 6-2) and Trent Milton (6-1, 6-0) won in singles, and Garrett Jordan/Luke Davidson (6-3, 6-2) and Cole Tarleton/Alex Pruitt (6-0, 6-0) won in doubles.
BUFORD GIRLS 5, JOHNSON 0: Singles winners were Bailey McCammon (6-1, 6-1), M.J. Ferreyros (6-0, 6-0) and Savanna Klem (6-3, 6-1), and Peyton Wolfe/Katie Quinn (6-0, 6-0) and Kenzie Walters/Gabby Benson (6-1, 6-2) were victorious in doubles.
LAKEVIEW ACADEMY BOYS 4, ATHENS CHRISTIAN 1: Singles winners were Jonathan Kerwin and Brooks Hylton, both with 6-0, 6-0 scores.
In doubles, Jonathan Schaefer and Avery Jackson won 6-0, 6-0, and William Ball and Tyler Dragau won 6-4, 6-0.
Lakeview Academy (5-0) hosts Riverside Military on Monday.

NORTH OCONEE BOYS 4, NORTH HALL 1: The lone winner for the Trojans on Thursday was the doubles team of Daniel Martin and Masa Kobayashi (6-2, 1-6, 10-7),
North Hall (6-1, 3-1 8-AAAA) visits Stephens County on Tuesday.

UNION COUNTY 9, RIVERSIDE MILITARY 5: Greg Stroyne went 3 for 3 for the Eagles.
Union County pitcher Lance Rich got the win allowing four runs on six hits in 5.1 innings with six strikeouts and three walks.
Golf
GAINESVILLE GIRLS COMPETE AGAINST WHITE COUNTY AND NORTH HALL: The Lady Red Elephants shot a 163 on Thursday at Mossy Creek Golf Course in Cleveland to top North Hall (180), but fell short of White County (150).
The three teams will play again at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
Lacrosse
RIVERSIDE MILITARY 18, SOUTHWEST DEKALB 1: Sheymus Maloney scored a hat trick on Thursday.
Ethan Cobb had two goals and two assists, Britt Sarazen had two goals and an assist, Mackenzie McGruer and Ben Turner scored two goals apiece and Chase Kaufman and Jon Canniff each had a goal and an assist.
Spencer Benford, Matt Rowan, Derek Ferguson, Andrew Poland and Mike Coppola accounted for the rest of the scoring, with all five scoring a goal.
Riverside Military hosts Duluth today at 7 p.m.
