Class AA’s top-ranked Buford High softball team extended its unbeaten streak to 20 games with a 4-2 win against Wesleyan on Wednesday in Norcross.
Karly Fullem picked up her 11th win of the season with six strikeouts and only allowed one earned run for the Lady Wolves (23-2-1, 5-0 Region 6-AA).
Lexi Overstreet was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI, Kallie Case tripled and scored a run and Whitney Wolfe added a hit for Buford.
Buford plays host to Westminster at 6 p.m. today.

East Hall wins tri-meet
The Vikings’ boys cross country team defeated Buford and Dawson County for their second win of the season on Wednesday.
Eli Martinez, Phillip Lucero-Lopez, Travis Peters, Rayshad Pierce and Jesus Carrillo were the top five runners for East Hall.
Bertha Rondan led the girls’ team with a fifth place finish.
