Stephanie Satterfield surrendered a lead-off hit and nothing else to lead White County to an 8-0 win over East Hall on Friday in Cleveland.
Satterfield, who improved to 2-0 on the year, had six strikeouts in the five-inning game.
Callie McDonald, who doubled in the game, and Lindsey Whitemire each went 2-for-3 with two RBIs for the Lady Warriors (3-0).
White County plays West Hall at 9:30 a.m. today in the rescheduled final day of the Lanier Point tournament.
BUFORD 1, CREEKVIEW 0: Karly Fullem pitched a two-hit shutout, and Kallie Case went 2-for-2 with a triple and an RBI to lead the Lady Wolves past Creekview on Friday at the Hawk/Bulldog Invitational at West Jackson Park.
Chelsie Thomas scored the game’s lone run and finished 1-for-2 with two stolen bases for Buford, which continues tournament play today against an opponent to be determined.

JEFFERSON SWEEPS TRI-MATCH: Sarah Wood had seven blocks against George Walton Academy on Thursday to set a new school record and lead the Lady Dragons to a sweep at Archer High.
Jefferson beat Archer 2-0 (25-16, 25-18) and George Walton 2-1 (25-21, 23-25, 25-16).
Amanda Daniel had 38 assists, eight aces and seven kills in the two games for Jefferson (8-1, 1-0 Area 8N-A/AA)
Cassie Metcalf (11 kills, 11 aces, 4 digs), Taylor Cramsey (15 kills, 3 aces, 2 blocks) and Eden Starnes (4 kills, 2 blocks) also contributed to the win.
