Gainesville High Athletic Director Wayne Vickery was named the 2012-13 Region 8-AAAAA Athletic Director of the Year by the Georgia High School Assosciation. The award was announced Thursday by the GHSA. Vickery received the honor following Gainesville’s first season of participation in Region 8-AAAAA.
